At Cloud 10-Customized Massage Therapy we want to decrease discomfort, not increase it. Your massage should always been within your level of comfort. Please let us know if there’s anything we can adjust to make your session what you need.

Your first appointment generally begins with the massage therapist gathering information, including what prompted you to seek massage therapy, your current physical condition, medical history, lifestyle, stress level, and any particular areas of pain or discomfort you are aware of within your body. You will be asked to fill out a confidential intake form for our records. We protect your privacy and will not share your information with others.

For a full-body session, you will be asked to undress to the level of your comfort. Many people choose to take off all clothing, but others choose to leave on underpants or other garments. Undressing takes place in private, and a sheet is provided for draping. The therapist will uncover only the part of your body being addressed, insuring that your comfort and modesty are respected at all times. Your therapist will ask for feedback during the session- feel free to express your needs. This is your massage therapy session, and the therapist’s goal is to work as a team with you and your body to make the session both beneficial and enjoyable. You do not want to finish a massage feeling worse than when you started, so your communication is of the utmost importance. Don’t be shy! If you need more pressure, less pressure, or something just isn’t working please let the therapist know.

If your massage will be in your home, we recommend you find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed by the phone, pets, children, etc. You deserve this time for yourself. No guilt allowed. Please consider that your therapist will have a massage table to set up and will need room to move all the way around it. We will bring sheets, music, oils, etc.

Please feel free to ask your therapist any questions you may have about massage therapy or about your session in particular.
