Cloud 10 specializes in customizing your massage therapy session to meet your wants, needs, and goals, whether it is deeper more specific therapy or a gentler relaxation massage. We realize taking care of yourself is easier said than done, so we strive to help guide and educate you in your understanding and caring for your whole body.

Cloud 10 offers massage therapy in our Arlington, Va office, in-home massage therapy, Mehta Facial Rejuvenation “facelift” massage, prenatal massage, Thai massage on the table, couples massage training, canine massage, and home spa design consultations.

We have extensive work with athletes of all abilities, including Iron Man triathletes, professional golfers, professional basketball players, professional cyclists, skiers, surfers, marathon and ultra-marathon runners, and weekend warriors in every sport you can imagine.

We work with clients of all ages, from infants to elders.

Our focus is on quality, not quantity. We book a limited number of appointments to ensure you receive our focused time and attention to meet your needs.

We are available to travel worldwide for massage therapy or for home spa consultations.

 

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy is simple.

Take care of your body and it will take care of you.  Educate yourself to listen to and understand your body-It will tell you what it needs.  Strive for prevention, not solution.

It really is a simple concept.  Let’s look at it:

1) Take care of your body and it will take care of you- I think this idea is fairly clear.  When you take the time and energy to learn about, understand, and nourish your body (physical, mental, and emotional) your body will respond.  When you spend time and energy caring for yourself, your body will stay healthier and “take care of you.”  If you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of anyone else.

2) Educate yourself to listen to and understand your body-It will tell you what it needs - Our culture doesn’t tend to value the body as a whole.  Often, we care for certain aspects of our body, but not the entire thing.  If you will take some time to learn about your body, how it functions, and what it needs, you will find it is much easier to keep your body healthy.  Your body is unlike any other body, so it is imperative you spend time learning about your body and the signals it is sending you.

3) Strive for prevention, not solution- We can’t stress this enough.  Spend your time and energy feeling and staying well rather than dealing with illness and injury. Respect your body.  If something feels “off”, have it checked out.  Don’t ignore it. Take care of your body before it hurts.  Use massage, yoga, acupuncture, sports, reading, or whatever you do to release physical and mental tension regularly.  Use massage as prevention, not solution.  Keep yourself healthy for yourself and all those who love you!

 

Who We Serve

Our clients come from all walks of life!  Here are some specific examples of who we help with massage therapy:

  • Massage Therapists- Many of our clients are massage therapists looking for self-care.

  • Athletes- We work with professional athletes, weekend warriors, and everyone in between.  We have extensive experience with skiers, golfers, Ironman triathletes, Ultra-marathoners, professional basketball players, professional cyclists, yogis, rowers, people training for fundraising events… the list goes on.

  • Executives/Office Workers - Chronic pain and tension lead to reduced productivity. Regular massage reduces pain and tension leading to more efficient, productive work.

  • Chronic pain/Disease- We have clients dealing with fibromyalgia, dystonia, and other conditions leading to chronic discomfort. Our vast skill set allows us to find something to work with most everyone.

  • Prenatal/Postnatal Massage- We work with women both during and after pregnancy

  • Children and Adolescents- Massage not only helps with “growing pains” (physical and mental), but also introduces the idea that healthy touch can be non-sexual.  We feel this is an important lesson for all ages.

  • Elder massage- We have been working with clients well into their 90′s for years.
